Stable Sync ("Stable Sync", "we", "us", or "our") provides horse-farm management software delivered as a web and mobile application (the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

• Account information — name, email address, and password (hashed) you provide when you register or are invited to a barn.
• Barn and horse data — information you or your barn enters about horses, showings, buyers, vet records, invoices, and related activity.
• Files you upload — photos, PDFs, and other documents associated with horses (e.g. vet records).
• Usage data — basic technical information such as browser type, device type, and pages visited, used to keep the Service working and secure.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To provide, maintain, and improve the Service.
• To authenticate users and enforce role-based access to your barn's data.
• To send account-related emails (password resets, invitations, notifications).
• To detect, prevent, and address security or technical issues.
• To comply with legal obligations.

3. How We Share Information

We do not sell your data. We share information only with:

• Other users in your barn — according to the role-based permissions your barn admin has set (e.g. sales staff, clients).
• Service providers we rely on to run the Service — primarily Google Firebase (Firestore, Authentication, Cloud Storage, Cloud Functions) for hosting, data storage, and authentication.
• Legal or safety reasons — when required by law or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Stable Sync or its users.

4. Data Storage and Security

Data is stored on Google Cloud infrastructure in the United States. We use industry-standard security controls including encryption in transit (TLS), authenticated access, and Firestore security rules that limit what each user can read or write. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your data using reasonable safeguards.

5. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. If you or your barn admin deletes your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal data within a reasonable period, except where we are required to retain it by law.

6. Your Rights

7. Children

The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Material changes will be communicated in-app or by email.
